ISSCA hosts the ISSCA World Congress on Regenerative Medicine 2022 in Istanbul, Turkey

The ISSCA is back for the second consecutive year after a brief hiatus due to Covid with its annual ISSCA World Congress of Regenerative Medicine 2022 for the Advancement of Cellular Therapies and Technologies in Istanbul, Turkey.

Istanbul, Turkey – March 11, 2022 – The International Society for Stem Cell Applications, ISSCAis once again hosting the most anticipated regenerative medicine occasion of the year from September 22-24, 2022. The nonprofit is celebrated worldwide for bringing the benefits of regenerative medicine to nations around the world and nurtured an international congregation of world-class scientists and physicians from more than 35 countries via its conferences, the last of which was held May 27-28 at the Pullman Istanbul Hotel & Convention Center.

The congress focuses on bringing together physicians from around the world with three full days of lectures and workshops, such as the Aesthetic Applications Workshop and the Clinical Applications Workshop. Throughout this event, physicians and researchers engage with panels to discuss recent advances in the rapidly expanding field of regenerative medicine; Among these, the main ones are:

● Molecular biology.

● New processing models in surgical and cosmetic applications.

● The latest technological advances are hitting the region.

This conference includes a panel on Cellular exosomes, which stems from years of progress towards the discovery of a development of regenerative medicine to reduce the time spent in the operating room. The accumulation of this data serves a single purpose: more effective treatment of degenerative diseases worldwide with up-to-date therapeutic applications of stem cells.

Additionally, the conference also discusses the legal terrain of the practice of regenerative medicine as it presents itself around the world, which means that multiple national governments have a say to some extent. Lectures are held throughout the day at this congress, which is part of ISSCA’s mission to support a paradigm shift from conventional healthcare responses to regenerative medicine and to provide the latest discoveries and extensions resourceful in all areas of stem cell research.

The conference is being held at the elegant Hyatt Regency Hotel, located near Istanbul Ataturk Airport. The hotel offers guests a blend of convenience, culture and comfort while visiting the ancient city, Turkey’s epicenter of entertainment and rich history. Congress participants will discover landscapes such as Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque.

Benito Novas, Vice President of ISSCA had this to say about the conference: “It’s amazing to be back – after so long with lockdowns and travel difficulties, we were wondering if we should wait even longer to hold an event. But, of course, it’s far from be ideal – even as the world goes into lockdown, research continues and breakthroughs are happening in our field of regenerative medicine month after month. Our ISSCA congresses provide a great opportunity to get this information out to the doctors who need it most need, and we plan to welcome as many as possible before the end of the year.
